DWD secure planning permission for storage and distribution warehouses in Daventry

Distribution & Industrial

DWD is delighted to have secured planning permission from West Northamptonshire Council for the construction of three new storage and distribution warehouses in Daventry on behalf of Logicor.

The approved development comprises the construction of three modern warehouses with ancillary offices, parking, landscaping and ancillary infrastructure such as fencing and lighting. The development will provide much needed modern, high quality industrial floorspace that will provide employment opportunities and reinforce the industrial development at the western edge of Daventry. The proposed development will also improve the appearance of the Site by removing an old dilapidated industrial unit and providing three highly sustainable, and functional units with robust landscaping and amenity areas which will be attractive to potential occupiers.

DWD led on the planning from the EIA screening stage through to planning committee, which included extensive engagement with West Northamptonshire Council during the determination period and post planning committee.

DWD was instructed to advise on the planning conditions and worked closely with the contractor to ensure the necessary conditions were discharged to allow construction on site which began in October 2023.
